Nha Trang
The five thirty arrival time came quickly and we were shuttled off to our hotel in this somewhat stereotypical tourist beach town. In town there are many restaurants and hotels catering to those in search of fun and sun. However, outside town is where we found the real gems of the area. I again rented a motorbike for the day along with a couple other gents on the tour and we headed out to explore the coast on both ends of the city. Zipping around the city we explored the markets and side streets until we followed the main road up the coast north of the city. Very quickly the many shops and hotels came to an end and we were surrounded by green mountains on the left and the bright blue ocean on the right spotted with small tree covered islands. It was majestic, turning each corner we were impressed by a new spectacular panorama. We met a family of four from Australia that decided to do it the Vietnamese way and pack four people onto a motorbike for a day trip to the Islands further north. We passed through a small fishing village where nearly every sidewalk and some of the streets were covered with nets full of small shrimp drying in the sun. The smell permeated the air surrounding the town.

The whole day was spent touring the beautiful winding and curving roads.
